•  You go to the grocery store you could care less about running straight to the candy aisle. Instead you tap dance up and down the aisles and you really don’t care who’s watching.
  • You teacher has to tell you to stop tap dancing under your desk.
  • Every time you hear a song that you danced to, you say “I danced to this song before” and no matter where you are or what you are doing you have to dance.
  • When someone says buffalo you don’t think of the animal or the spicy wing sauce, you think of the dance step.
  • High heels and wedges don’t bother you because your tap shoes have a high heel.
  • Your tap shoes are you most comfortable pair of shoes, and you would rather wear them instead of your slippers.
  •  You count the music every time an upbeat song comes on and then you try and choreograph a dance to it.
  • You try and teach your friends how to tap dance, but they are not interested.
  • Dorothy clicked her heels to get home and you clicked your tap shoes to get to dance practice.
  • You are a pro at polishing shoes because you are a perfectionist when it comes to polishing your tap shoes.
  • You carry a screwdriver with you everywhere you go, because you never know when you may need to tighten a screw on your tap shoe.
  • Singin in the Rain is one of your all time favorite movies.
  • You keep every single pair of tap shoes that you have ever worn no matter how old they are.
  • Instead of going to the movies with your friends on the weekend, you go to the dance studio to practice your routine.
  • You know your tap routine better than your vocabulary words for english class.
  • You start to tap with your hands instead of your feet.
  • 1, 2,3,4,5,6,7, and 8 are your lucky numbers.
  • You can count any piece of music no matter what type it is.
  • You laugh when people think that they can put on a pair of tap shoes and all of a sudden be a tap dancer.
  • When someone says “wings”, you don’t think of part of a bird. You think of the dance step called “wings”, where you look like a bird while doing them.
  • You love the sound of your pull-backs and wings because they are so perfect.
  • You walk into a room and look at the floor and say “Wow your floor is perfect for tap dancing.”
  • You carry around hairspray not only for your hair, but you also use it on your tap shoes so you won’t slip and fall on stage.
